The meeting venue is the Loew’s Hotel Philadelphia. We have reserved a block of rooms at a room rate of $189.00/night. The room block is reserved through May 2; these discounted rates will not be available after that date.

Meeting Venue
The meeting venue is the Loew’s Hotel Philadelphia, located in the heart of center city Philadelphia. A renovation of the city’s first skyscraper, the hotel has over 500 guestrooms and over 47,000 square feet of meeting space, with a function space on the 33rd floor with sweeping city views. The hotel is within easy walking distance to restaurants and famous landmarks, including Reading Terminal Market, City Hall, and Dilworth Park, and a short car or subway ride away from Independence Hall and other historical sites.
The Loew’s is a 20 minute drive from Philadelphia International Airport, which offers direct flights to a large number of cities in the U.S., and is a 13 minute drive from the Amtrak station.
Hybrid Experience
RESPECT is held as a hybrid conference to support broader participation and conference accessibility. Both presenters and attendees can register to participate remotely. Plenary sessions and panels will be livestreamed; remote audience members can ask questions through the Whova app. Pre-recorded paper and poster presentation videos will be posted and available through Whova. Similar to SIGCSE, we plan to offer an “Author’s Corner” where attendees can synchronously meet online with paper authors to ask questions and have discussions.
